Drop Your Guard is all about bringing awareness to Mental Health while promoting Wellness.


We as humans have grown up to want to attempt to live some picture ‘Perfect’ life that is unrealistic. (especially in this new age of Social Media)

We tend to lie to ourselves first, and then to others, by telling ourselves we are ‘Okay’ when really, we may not be. We hold in our true feelings and keep our ‘Guard Up’ in order to ‘Protect’ ourselves.


Sadly, some people bully and put others down while keeping their ‘Guard Up’ in order to deflect attention and ‘Protect’ themselves. More times than not this is likely because they are struggling with issues themselves.


All of the above only damages our Mental Health over time.


It is time we all ‘Drop Our Guard’ and start loving ourselves and each other!


By being honest with ourselves we can begin to heal at times we need it. We can get that help that sometimes we need from professionals who are there just waiting to help.


By treating each other with kindness and respect we can find true happiness and also make this crazy world we live in just that much better for all.


By being open we can break down the nasty Stigma that surrounds Mental Health making all of the above easier.


EVERYONE in the world deals with Mental Health in some capacity at some time in their life.


Just like everyone has Physical Health, everyone has Mental Health. It’s time we make our Mental Health a priority.


That all being said, once again, don’t be afraid to “Drop Your Guard’!
